The Social Council of the Miguel Hernández University (UMH) delivered the awards of the IX edition of the Social Council Awards on March 6th. In this act, the modalities of Companies and Institutions, Research, Students, Teaching Excellence, Actions of Innovation in Management, Entity without spirit of profit, Best university athletes and UMH Chairs have been recognized.
In the section of UMH Chairs, in the El Palmeral d’Elx Chair, this year has fallen on the commercial director of SOSPALM, Alfredo Ahumada Pérez, for the fight against the red palm weevil.
